Heidi England Visit our Website at http://www.heidiengland.com Dear Folk Artist, Grab your hat and boots and come paint a spell in the beautiful Texas Hill Country! We’ll have 4 wonderful weeks of painting, learning, and relaxing. The Hill Country Arts Foundation is located in Ingram, 65 miles northwest of San Antonio, Texas on the Guadalupe River. Please come and help me celebrate my 27th year of teaching in one location, our Texas Hill Country! I will share designs, painting techniques, and encourage you to express yourself. A little time for field trips and retail therapy are a “must”! Formal teaching hours are from 9-4; however, our fully air conditioned studio is open 24 hours a day! You can see the class pieces on my website – www.heidiengland.com . Be sure to let us know your class preferences – three summer classes plus one fall class! All classes begin on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 P.M. Please bring your regular painting supplies – including sealers, brushes, tracing & graphite paper, and paint to prep your pieces. The decorating paint will be supplied by Chroma. If you have favorite colors, bring them along. I will have some supplies available for sale. If you wish to do extra painting, please bring your own wood. If you want to finish an unfinished piece or two – just let me know what you’re working on. I’ll be happy to bring the originals for you. Just call me. If possible, give yourself an extra day or two to explore the wonderful hill country area. We have great food, super shopping, antiquing, Fredericksburg, Lady Bird Johnson’s properties, the San Antonio “River Walk”, the Pioneer and Cowboy Artist’s Museums – fishing, golfing, and the list goes on and on! You know the best part – PAINTING !! Please sign on early. Classes fill fast. This helps me in the ordering and shipping of your pieces. A list of accommodations can be obtained from the Arts Foundation. Again, early reservations are helpful since the Texas Hill Country is a very popular vacation area. Out of staters may wish to fly into San Antonio and rent a car. Many students lodge in Kerrville at the Hampton Inn, or the Inn of the Hills, or in Ingram at the Hunter’s Lodge. Y’all come! Heidi Heidi’s Texas Hill Country Class 2008! Tuition is $240 per week or $225 for HCAF Members. The Deposit is $100 per week. The remaining tuition is due 1 month prior to your class. The Surface Fee is due by the end of your painting week, and paid to Heidi England.
The deposit holds your spot in class. Upon receipt of your full
tuition you will receive an envelope with your patterns, instructions, and
photos – about two weeks before your class.
